A: medium lemon N: medium intensity aromas of vanilla, cream, toast, lemon curd, yellow pear, nectarine, white peach, touch of jasmine P: dry, high acidity, medium (+) body, high ABV, medium intesntiy flavors, medium finish on almond and heat C: good wine, balanced acidity with soft, ripe fruit, some complexity of primary/secondary notes, heat on the finish is a bit distracting but otherwise a very enjoyable if not distinctive wine.

A good bit of earth smell at first but there is not much fruit here. High acidity without freshness, without citrus, the acidity just feels like white vinegar. Creamy, too creamy without support. Light style, not much depth. No herbs or spices. An off bottle?

Well first wine of the 2016 Bordeaux release for me. On nose: toasted coconut , tart peach and faint mineral notes. On palate: follow through of above noted, with lime, quinine , almond and a fuller creamy edge of nougat and faint vanilla ....pleasant , very young and finding its balance ....the second wine of the celebrated Dom de C. Fine pale Platinum/ Gold in colour .....should age well....try again in 3 years.

Deeper but softer/more muted nose compared to the Lespault-Martillac. I get an impression of ‘white flower syrup’ I've noted in good Puligny-Montrachet. All very clean and fresh, well-integrated oak, oily touches (especially lemon), citrus and toast. The palate has more of the mellow qualities, creamy with stimulating spikes of acidity, and a broad mealy mineral flavour. Stony yet broad and soft, easy-going, nutty, ripe with a savoury mineral finish. Mellow, fruity, some oak but less ‘new’ versus the L-M.
