Decanted for two hours and it needs more aeration! Dark fruit hidden beneath aromatics of smoke, black tea and scorched earth. After two hours there were black raspberry and menthol. The tannins are present but fine grained and not overpowering. The raspberry flavor is there but time will allow this to show. The earth is present in the mouth as Alban is know for revealing its terroir! EG #ArchitecturalArtistry #WineArchitect . . . . #albanvineyards #pandora #rhoneranger

Head to head with 2015 Pegau CDP... mixed opinions around the table. Both solid 97s, but two drinkers favored the Pegau, one the Pandora. This is a full-throttle Grenache that continues the string of monster Pandoras. It needs at least an hour of air but it's a killer.

Lovely wine but still needs a year or two.

Very very young but delicious. A huge nose, albeit primary. Deep blue and black fruits. Some tannin.

Absolutely stunning. Pure expression of grenache without a hard edge.
