Excellent. Pnp undesirable - first glass was massive fruit and alcohol. Recorked and drank 2nd night after an hour decant. It settled down considerably, becoming softer and more integrated with a lengthy finish. Last glass was superb. Full bodied, dense dark fruits - ripe sweet blueberry, dark red cherries, very creamy mid-palate texture, moderate tannins. Went well with bbq teriyaki chicken thighs.

Opened but not decanted. Inky dark color with no sign of bricking yet. Dark and blue fruits on the nose, followed on the palate with addition of black cherry, violet and cassis. No hurry here. Throwing a ton of sediment - a decant wouldn’t hurt.

I’ve been drinking CA Cabs since the 1974 Vintage so my palate has been set from these early classic wines and also by Bordeaux. These over ripe, fruit bomb CA Cabs are a new phenomenon and I get some people like them but I just don’t nor will I ever like them.
People should drink what they like and now Bordeaux is over 60% of my cellar because that’s what I like. I just don’t think Cabernet Sauvignon should be ripe with sweetness. This is my opinion. There are still some great, traditional CA Cab Producers. This however is not one of them.

Pretty much in line with my last bottle, a good wine but not showing as well as previous experiences. Good, but not special. 92+ Points.

Excellent. Need over an hour to open, but when it did it was excellent. Very balanced. Strong plum- chocolate but not at all over powering.
