  Semillon Chardonnay blend. Needs much more time in bottle. Notes of kaffir lime and toast with iris florals and honey evolving with air. Racy, linear acidity with lime dominant on the palate. A proportion of barrel-fermented Chardonnay gives notable weight to the mid-palate. Slight phenolic pithiness, hint of grapefruit bitterness, long palate length. The first mouthful seemed somewhat disjointed, but with air, became much more seamless in the glass. It is interesting and refreshing now, but with more time in bottle, the toasty notes will develop further and the wine will feel better integrated.
