  • Opened and took a sip, potential but so tight. No time to decant that night so I corked it and opened something else. The next night I decanted it and it was very good. It is still too young and I would recommend holding for five years. If you want to drink one now, decant it for three hours at least.

  • First time with this producer and wine. Of course it is young, but curiosity got the best of me. On opening, it was completely uninteresting. Polished, simplistic, sweet fruit, no structure. Could have been a mediocre CA Syrah. Corked it and left it in the fridge for a few days, and it really transformed, developing both complexity and structure. Glad I tried a bottle, but will wait 5 years to do so again.
