  Medium brick red in color. Airy nose of dark florals, cinnamon/cloves, crushed red berries/plums, forest-floor and tobacco. A perfectly medium bodied and silky palate shows more sweet and less sour red cherries, plum skins, hint of earth, good acidity and a very floral and perfumed baking spice finish. Superb showing for a 25 year old Premier Cru Beaune.

  Medium brick red in color. Wonderful aromas of crushed morello cherries/plums, dark florals, an old wooden chest, leather and tobacco. A perfectly medium bodied and silky palate shows sweet-slightly bitter dark red pit fruits, savory brown sauce, good acidity and a decent leather and perfumed wood finish. Best showing for this bottle - a well mannered 25 year old Premier Cru Beaune red burg!

  Light and hazy brick red. Lovely aromatics showing strong pipe tobacco, leather, dark florals and forest-floor. Light to medium bodied with still discernible light red berry fruit, brown sauce, medium acidity, no tannins and a ripe tobacco tinged finish. This is the best showing of this wine, but the wine does change its personality after about ~30 mins in the glass.

  Light brickish red in color. Airy nose showcases leather, forest floor, red fruit and tobacco. Light-medium bodied still shows presence of sweet-tart earthy red berries, medium acidity, no tannins and a medium leather and tobacco tinged finish.

  Hazy limpid ruby with bricking. Lovely bright red berry nose shows crushed strawberries, mushrooms, sous-bois and perfumed woodsy spice. Light to medium bodied palate shows sweet red berries with some sautéed mushrooms, hint of licorice, wet earth and a licorice tinged finish. Moving towards secondary aromatics now at 22 years of age.
