Question to myself: am I a good or bad blind taster? I guess 2002 Charmes. But I guess Chambolle Charmes. LOL. fml.
Nice wine, has that lift and weight of 02 but still a touch hollow on the mid palate. Had beautiful purity on the palate and the finish was seamless and long. Very young still and can hold for some time. Great value tho.

Burg Dinner with Friends (Playground - Santa Ana CA): Tasted double blind. More black vs red fruit with roasted meat and hints of evolution, while still a little backward. Very good weight made me think this Burgundy Grand Cru, and overall character made me think this from Gevrey-Chambertin...one small dirt road away. Very good+ now, with upside from here.
