Very enjoyable gamay. Solid fruit, good acid balance.
I went through a case of the '14, which i LOVED - it had more nuance, more verve, more earth tones (cooler vintage). This is bolder, fruitier and, to me, less interesting.
It has softened a bit, yet hasn't evolved much since I've purchased this.

Really a good bottle. Lots of sweet red fruit. There was quite a bit of the sulfur noted in Beaujolais. Still a very good wine that's hopefully coming together.

Popped and poured. Raspberry nose. Not a lot of acid or tannin. It's a good option if you need a light red wine for serving for certain types of food. Overall, blah.

Savory and herbal, this leads with white pepper and tarragon notes, with mild hints of cherry and blood orange around the central grapey flavors. Still, I don't think it's unfair to say this feels muted rather than subtle, with a short finish.

The wine is coming together. Great red fruits with nice acidity. I made a wagyu A5 steak with wagyu fat fried rice, and the wine was perfect with it.
