While this could used a tiny bit more acid, as another reviewer put it, it wasn’t that angular style that seems to have overtaken Beaujolais Cru, which I personally don’t care for. Earthy with abundant black fruit. Slight bit of bret. Don’t really taste the typical flavors from Carbonic Maceration. A little bit of petillance that disappeared with some swirling.

Fullness is here compare to any Beaujolais. Versatile with pate , chicken wings and even spicy pizza.

Good fruit and structure. Concentrated flavors of cherries, minerals and briar probably from the old vines and soil.

slightly drying blueberry and blackberry, florals and graphite. Quite earthy and structured. Not an average easy sipping gamay, almost syrah like.

Hints of spice and cherry. 100% gamay grapes.
