Pop n pour from a 375. Muted nose hints of a classic Pauillac, not very interesting on the palate but an ok value at ($9) from last bottle. After a hour in the glass it was flat and boring and went down the drain. So maybe the value was less than OK.

Petrol. Dirt. Very little fruit. Tannins are evident but not too strong. This is the style of Bordeaux I really like, so I am probably scoring higher that those who would like more fruit. Alcohol is almost hidden. I think this is drinking very well right now but could also go 2-3 more years in its prime. I really like the balance in this. Great, long finish.

Color: Medium red with some fading around the edges Nose: Indistinct red fruit with some green herbal notes Taste: Graphite, earth, some tart red fruit is hiding in the background. Fine tannins and medium acidity are a bit out of balance with the fruit. The wine has a silky mouthfeel and there's no evidence of alcohol. I enjoyed the wine more than the score might indicate, and at $9 for a 375ml bottle, nice qpr.

PnP one of the 375 dealios. Fit the bill with tobacco, cigar box, low fruit which was dark and savory. Good mouthfeel. 88-89

Middle of 3 bottles tasted with dinner. Fruit is still meaningful and tannins still represented. Estimate it has another 2-3 years of good drinking.
