  Less compelling than other years or crus from the same producer. Same imprint of tropical notes. Lots more of cheese, almost camembert. However, it lacks in depth and body. Its acidity is not supported by the structure of the wine. A notch below other bottles from Macon I had from this producer. Partly, it could be a less compelling vintage. The average score from cellartracker seem to confirm that this vintage is below others for this bottling.

  Couleur assez prononcée, fruits jaunes, assez mûr, l’air lui fait du bien, des amers en finale, pas mauvais mais pas une réussite en 2016.
  
  Fairly dark, yellow fruit profile, ripe, with some air it helps to bring the acidity forward, not bad but not great in 2016

  Very precise white burgundy with rich notes of lemon curd, yellow apple, barrel toast, and cream. Compared to the Crochette this has less barrel influence for me, and a more linear minerality. Confused about the other ratings on this wine. Compared to $100+ white burgs, this is a steal.

  Nez fumé et avec un côté pierreux et de fruits blancs. La bouche est sur le même registre, fumée un peu trop à mon gout mais agec une belle salinité, un peu iodée et une bonne acidité. Bon mais moins que sur d’autres millésimes. 87-88

  Les vins de ce producteur sont constants: bons dès l'ouverture, se gardent quelques jours, se boivent bien seuls ou avec le repas. Rien de grand mais du très bon vin.
