This was really good; lemon zest and mineral notes with underlying ripe apple and pear. Fresh, delicious, great depth for the price. Hands down one of the best values in Burgundy. Wish they were easier to find.

what great QPR these Lafon Macon's have been in 2019 and 2020... in '19 my fav was the Lilly-Martine Clos du Four, in 2020 -- which is great but not yet a match for the epic 2019 white burgs -- this Monsard (along with the Crochette) might be vying for the top spot... as with all the Lafon Macon wines in these two years, light and bright -- great at dinner if drinking with oysters (almost light chablis like) and maybe by the pool on a Sunday afternoon!

Very mineral-driven, when compared to the more yellow fruited saint veran from the same producer alongside which it was drunk

Domaine Lafon Cellar Visit and Tasting (Meursault): Tasted at Lafon. Also nicely bright, just slightly less power vs the Uchizy Les Maranches just tasted. Also good length, also already good now.
