  • Deep Blueberry bold wine. So sad they are not producing anymore - my first and last. Wish I had more.

  • Excellent Howell Mountain cab with well managed tannins and rich deep red and purple fruits backed by a light spice note. There is plenty of fine sediment, so stand the bottle up a week or so in advance to let it settle. This is just at the front end of its window and should drink well for another 7-8 years, at least.

  • PnP had at midlothian chef kitchen for Ellens birthday dinner. Great red fruit and spiced nose. Med+ body. red fruit and well balanced. Not too big or cloying and lighter on its feet than your typical 2015. But not short at all on fruit or flavor. Great bottle to sip during dinner. Woud buy again. Great beserker day purchase.

  • brought to a restaurant that I assumed would have decent stemware (I'm looking at you Apostle Supper Club, St Paul, MN). Instead they have water goblets. PnP and this drank fine but could have been any middle of the road non distinct red. Bummer

  • Last bottle of this in the cellar, enjoyed with family and the 2 week anniversary of my first grandchild's birth. Yes, I only have one, and not likely to have more, so I'm going to celebrate it every chance I get. Champagne to start, followed by zin and cab with various pizzas while holding and cuddling the new addition. Pnp'd this one to let it slow ox over an hour then we all consumed it over the next two. Seems to be in a good spot these days. Needs little attention and delivers like a cab of twice the price. Solid dark red fruit, nicely integrated tannins and balanced acidity. I don't think you can ask for much more with this one.
