  Weho's tasting note is spot on, which is why we really liked this wine. Stolpman's Sauvignon Blanc tastes very much like the Sancerre's we used to drink and its not like the gooseberry flavored Sauvignon's that are typical of New Zealand and now more frequently also coming out of Sancerre.

  $14 via K&L Clearance.
  Medium yellow in the glass, with aromas of grass and lime zest. Pear, lemon-lime, and minerals show on the lively palate. Alcohol is medium, acid is medium+. The wine is medium bodied and dry, with a a medium finish. Good match for seafood and very drinkable on its own, but would not buy again.
