A decent version of Sauvignon Blanc that is, thankfully, more in the French Sancerre style than the overly-popular "grassy" style popularized by NZ and many U.S. wines. This Stolpman has stony fruit, chalky minerality, with peach and almond. Nicely done, but it still lacks a depth and complexity that I am looking for. Perhaps that will emerge as these vines age. Very promising, but not quite there yet.

Corkscrew tasting of wines from Stolpman vineyards (Princeton, NJ): Floral. Citrus. Tropical fruits and wet stone. Nor good qpr for $23.
