I found several of these, long lost on an un-inventoried shelf at offsite storage. These were great 15 years ago, and still tasty today, with plenty of ripe stone and orchard fruits, enough acidity to retain balance, and good+ depth, but this was much better when last tasted in 2009, but still drinking well, 87 points for now.

Ray Goder Truffle Dinner (Saddle & Cycle Club): Full yellow color. Lovely pure forwad nose of liquid mineral and yellow fruit. Huge rich caramel sweet yellow fruit on the palate. Very nice - a clear step up from other HdV 'regular' chardonnays I've had in the past.

4/16/2015 - ConnIntChicago Does not like this wine:
Tropical fruit, sweet oak and medicinal tang. One bottle was better than the other but not drinkable even from a double mag; tired and flat.

Wonderfully rich stone fruit, some orchard, clearly with enough structure and brightness on finish. Very good now, maybe upside?

Second Annual White Truffle Dinner (Saddle and Cycle Cub - Chicago IL): From magnum. Much like how it tasted last year, perhaps showing even a bit more rich and lush, with some hints of butterscotch near the finish.
