  Decanted 30 min before funneling back into the bottle for service at Ringside Steakhouse; paired with bone-in NY steak. I only got a small taste of this one, but it was loved by all. From memory, black cherry and cassis, very elegant in the mouth with fine black tea tannins and a rich vanilla finish. Very good stuff that is only just coming into its prime drinking window. Glad I have another! I see this gaining a number of points in a few years; will try to hold my last bottle. Drink through 2035.

  This had a lot of phenolic green pepper on the nose and palate, but still had a plethora of dark fruits. I was surprised to see so much pepper this early on. Maybe others will like it more than me.
