  Wow. I was not expecting this when I popped this bottle for some casual Wednesday night drinking. Fantastic nose full of wild cherry, herbal aromatics, a broad array of wild and lively floral aromas. Ultra fine oak is providing a sweet edge to it too. The palate is well balanced with soft tannin and fresh fruit. I‘m sure there is even more potential when cellared for another few years, but tough choice for something that is drinking so amazingly already now! My best bottle so far and a clear step-up from 2 years ago when I tasted this a couple of times fresh in the bottle.

  Popped and poured. Broadly confirmed the impression I had from the last bottle a short while ago, but maybe with a slightly smaller wow-effect hence the one notch downgrade to 93. Overall a strong effort although the fruit (strawberry, raspberry) could be more precise. Again found some sweet spiceyness and fine, earthy oak. On the palate super round and fresh juiceyness.

  Popped & poured. Medium+ intensity. Clear, light, red strawberry and raspberry fruit - enticing even if not as precice as I recently tasted in a Burgundy grand cru. Fine oaky, earthy aromas and a bewildering spiceyness add to the overall compexity. Palate shows a perfect amount of acidity, good balance and layered fruit. This is a magnificent effort surpassing the 2015 and easily seeing eye to eye with the Bündner Herrschaft behemoth Gantenbein.
