Light medium-yellow colour. Lots of butter and oak on the nose. Medium bodied with nice mouth-feel. But to my taste this was way too oaky and Californian in style. Good long finish. The wine was quite controversial in that some people liked the showy character and others thought it too be too removed from its terroir.
