New-school with a floral, slightly jammy nose. Dark red sappy fruit on the palate with some spicy undertones. Enjoyable but preferred the more traditional wines of Fourrier and Clavelier today. Good potential though and look forward to revisiting my other bottle in a few years.

Double blind. My first experience with this producer. Pretty good wine, obviously young but approachable. Sadly I didn’t spend enough time on this, a producer to look into in the future. Middle of the pack in tonight’s tasting.

Champagne 2008 and older or floral reds (Imperial Grand): Blind. Blue fruits, slight notes of ripe fruits, touch modern in the style. Palate had lots of transparency, lacks weight with sandy tannins. Stylistically different from the 2013 bottling from different plots I had. This was clean, and transparent not the rustic, dense style earlier. Apparently there is a change in winemaker with the next generation taking over.

Muted nose but smooth drinking with purity of fruit. Probably can keep for few more years before it opens up

Tasting at Amiot-Servelle (Chambolle Musigny): Pretty and generous nose. More lushness of fruit here with nice spice intensity. Real purity and transparency in this wine. 92+
