Popped and poured. Medium ruby color. Slight browning at edge. Vigorous swirling reveals some nice floral notes. Excellent cut. Red berry floral on the palate. Strawberries? A firm hit of acid provides good crunch. I'll give this another go on day 2. So far 92 points.
A bit rounder on day 2. Still good crunch and excellent balance. 92 points.

Strawberry red with a watery meniscus. Medium bodied on the palate with some bright acidity and soft round tannins.
Crushed blueberries, raspberries, tayberries. A bit of mushroom/forest floor, but it’s rather subdued by the fruit. Beyond, there’s some warm vanilla and baking spices coming through with a hint of puff pastry before the whole thing rounds out with a little crack of black pepper on the finish. The alcohol is a touch high here, but overall, it’s a fairly well integrated—and delicious—Pinot.

Well integrated, still loads of black cherry fruit with overtones of some classic burgundian mushroom and earthy tones
