Very tired. Showing some oxidation, fruit is leaning toward the dried/cooked area. Very tawny in color. Palate dominated by those tired notes. Not going to rate it, as it's clearly past it's peak

Light on its feet not too tannic but intensity of flavor very much a strong suit. Almost Burgundian in that way. Versatile wine for a range of not too rich dishes, easy to enjoy this.

Drank at a restaurant so waiter decanted for 20-30 minutes. A little tight at first but the minerality really shines through. Not really comp,ex. Medium/light mouthfeel. Drank over the next 90 minutes and it did get better but the wine is merely a quaff and a cellar defender at best. The Vigneri Etna Rosso I drank recently was much better. Price is low so QPR is good.

This wine is okay but tastes hollow and lacks concentration.
