  [TASTED AT A WINEBAR @ STICKS & STONES, MUNICH, GERMANY]
  
  ENGLISH:
  Nose: Fine, elegant, restrained, fine roasted notes of light nuts, some stone fruit, white grapefruit and lemon zest, a bit of lemongrass later
  Taste: Grapefruit, lemon zest, lemongrass, cumin, great, elegant acidity, plus light toasted oak, the interplay of the grape character and the barrel is really extremely finely tuned, light yeast
  Comment: Overall, it is not particularly complex and has a rather light body while still showing some barrel influences, yet you can feel the craftsmanship in every second. Highly elegant. For the incredible points some critics are giving (>95P) especially the nose was missing a bit of character.
  
  GERMAN (ORIGINAL):
  Nose: Fein, elegant, zurückhaltende, feine Röstnoten von hellen Nüssen, feines Steinobst, weiße Grapefruit und Zitronenzesten, ein Hauch Zitronengras
  Taste: Grapefruit, Zitronenzesten, Zitronengras, Kumin, tolle, elegante Säure, dazu leichte toasted oak, das Zusammenspiel aus dem Traubencharakter und dem Fass ist wirklich extrem fein abgestimmt, leichte Hefe-Noten
  Comment: Insgesamt ist er garnicht sonderlich komplex und auch eher körperlich für die Fasseinflüsse auf der leichteren Seite, trotzdem merkt man das Handwerk in jeder Sekunde. Höchst elegant. Für die extremen Punkte mancher Kritiker (>96P) fehlte mir jedoch insbesondere in der Nase etwas mehr Präsenz.

Soft acid to the finish and with air, more melon like flavours and less citrus. An easy drinking style, yet having had the Kosta’s from the same maker a few times recently off restaurant wine lists I think I prefer it.

  Great wine. Still young Slight Flint taste will settle beautifully in 3-5 years but already good
