Past peak. On the palate this starts with prominent minerality before shifting to oak/alcohol. I never drank it when young, but I’m guessing would have been better and more balanced when there was more fruit.

Powerhouse Pinot. Heat on the nose. 14.1 ABV. Not a good representation of the varietal. Maybe I missed the window. Fruit and acid still there. Just hard to tell its Pinot. Still very drinkable and tasty.

Popped and poured, enjoyed over 2 hours with salmon tacos and langostino tacos. Nose is smoky, musky, reminiscent of peat moss. Crisp fruit, tangy cherry, earthy, minerally, very acidic. Long tart fruit finish. Wonderful food wine.

Popped and poured, drank over a 2 hour period. Bright red color. Dusty rose on the nose, citric acidity and red raspberries in the mouth, along with some dirt. Good finish. Lively, bright, floral wine.
