Ripe fruit and earthy notes on the nose with a bit of spritz on the palate with moderate length on the finish. With more air time it develops some over-ripe notes. Drink up, I don't see this improving. Not up to the $44 I paid from the winery, but at $18 on the open market it's reasonable.

I have always found Siduri Pinot ideosyncratic which also means that each wine is very different from one another and, for the most part, signals of locale. Red with purple highlights. Deep color. Not quite brilliant. Attractive, complex, powerful nose of cola, cherry, spicy high tone( note: none of the earthy quality of the Lachini from Willamette that we had last night.) Surprising cola ( reminds me of may Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot- mountain grown? the clone?) in this wine, nearly out of balance. But also a racy acidity and a dollop of dark cherry with an extended pleasant finish that remains pleasant and becomes increasingly complex. A unique wine,

Drinking very well. Tannins soft and in the background. I suspect it's not going to get alot better.

Secondary fermentation - first pinot I've had with this flaw. Drinkable, but too acidic to be really enjoyable.

Yes, spritzy, but delicious with lots of earthy funk. Yum.
