Dark red, nearly black. Slow legs. Smells of dark fruit and baking spice. Can also taste the dark fruit, spice, and a hint of dark chocolate. It has a long finish with the dark chocolate flavor lingering on the tongue.

A rare 90 + for me. Subtle tannins and acidity compliment the traditional Malbec characteristics of black fruit and baking spice. No need for cellaring. This one is ready to go for any special occasion.

Super dense nose and a bit one-dimensional at this stage. There are tremendous amounts of undefined black fruit and oak. Some disturbing fruit yogurt notes too.
Ridiculously concentrated and thick mouthfeel. There is structure enough to keep it from being flabby. Very long finish with a significant alcohol heat to it.
This is a monster of a wine. Even if I’m a bit impressed how thick you can make a wine there’s no joy at all drinking a wine like this.

Would likely score higher with more time to breath and 3-5 years agree
