Wine has peaked and left a slight bitter finish. Overall the wine looks ruby colored. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like mineral, cherry and stoniness. It tastes like cherry and stoniness. The body is medium. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity.

This showed quite well. From a warmer vintage so the fruit held up. Desired a touch more acid, yet was fairly balanced overall. Dried cherries, cran, and an herbal streak. Medium bodied with great texture from integrated tannins. Wouldn't wait too much longer to open this one.

Nose is clean of medium intensity with youthful aromas strawberry red fruits, a delicate floral violet as well as spice notes of blackcurrant leaf (leafiness).
Palate is dry with sour medium + acidity, dusty medium tannins, delicate medium alcohol, medium – body, and a medium flavor intensity reflective of the nose with strawberries, violets and leaf aromas. Length is medium with flavor characteristics ending before acidity and then finally tannins.
Wine is of good quality as it shows Sangiovese from Tuscany precisely. Its youthful tannin and acid structure suggest that it is a young wine (2-4 years old) and while it can be drunk now it will improve for five more years. $20.

Surprisingly, this wine blossomed long after it's critic drinking window. Dark red cherry , tar, well balanced.
