LOng Time no see cellar trackers boyz and girls... been so busy, anyways here is another bottle of that 2016 Yannick Feraud wine, and an absolute must have... our knowledge over CDP is growing, really fast, and that one has it all, depth, no heaviness at all, dark fruits and liquorice on the nose, bramble, currant, not over ripe at all, palate is fresh and yet consistant and with length and power. Again the style of the Sandy saffres is there and shows nothing like the more ripe and oxydated style of the stony area... my view here, but hell that counts. Guys you love spice and some lighter style grenache, pick that, it has depth and length still without the alcohol or tannins, one of the best nowadays i that price range and style... watch the 2018 on their way and the 19 in wood is gonna be stunning.

Could rank even higher, but it is still very young, the wine shows great aromatic herbs and olive nose, it is refined and very fresh on the palate, long, persistant, great wine... cellar 10/12, or decanter 3 hours, from the lighter soils of sands (saffres) and sandstone, Grenache up to 85 % from memory...

Peppery red fruits stand out here. The wine is lush, peppery, fresh and finishes with Herbs de Provence, spicy red berries and soft, textures. The wine is made from blending 85% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre and an array of various AOC allowable grapes.
