Good champagne but not better than most of the top tier Mumms made in California. In that sense, at least for those in the US it’s not worth the price.

Bordeaux Trip 2023; 3/25/2023-4/2/2023 (Paris <-> Bordeaux): Excellent champagne from Grand Cru parcells. Fresh nose with some citrus fruit, a little peach, chalk and brioche, from the extended storage on the lees. Would give this champagne at least another decade for furthe development.

Yellow with glints of gold. An initial impression of fresh notes of white and yellow fruit, developing into fruit marmalade, honey, nougat and vanilla. A hint of roasted coffee and mocha. A frank, lively attack, gradually developing into fullness. A complex, harmonious, gourmet champagne.
