A wine that my wife and I could agree on! She loved it and so did I, very refreshing. I could see it pairing well with seafood (fresh oysters) or even a dish with a light cream sauce or beurre blanc.

Clear, straw color in the glass, w/ excellent clarity. Fresh, tree-fruit aromas - golden delicious apples, pears, & grapefruit. Apples, lemon, and mild grapefruit flavors; refreshing. Slightly acidic, w/ a hint of sweetness. An excellent choice for sipping and lighter fare.

To the nose, lemon/lime with slight pineapple and one faint snip of coconut. On the palate, a citrus mix (lemon/lime more than papaya, pineapple) with honeydew melon and asian pear. This vintage has a slightly more round and full mouthfeel, is saltier and less crisp/acidic than prior years' per my recall. Length as expected for a Spanish albarino. A refreshing wine, great QPR, and summer regular for us. Now looking forward to the 2018 to compare.
