Medium yellow color. Notes of lemon, pear, yellow apples, grass, minerals, and wet stones. Alcohol medium, acidity medium-plus. Paired well with arugula/pear salad.

Recent purchase from the big box wine store ($15.99). PnP. Nose of moderate citrus--lemon, lime and grapefruit--and some apples and pears. On the palate, similar notes with a bit of sweet tropical fruit. The citrus isn't as sharp as other SBs and is balanced by the tropical fruit, making the wine almost able to pass as a chardonnay. Light to medium colored, light bodied, light legs; moderate acidity, less than many SBs. Crisp and refreshing, this wine is a solid standalone drinker, and while I didn't have it with food, I think it would pare well with the usual SB fare (fish, chicken, etc.). Drink now as a PnP, and should likely hold well for 2-3 years, at least. Solid wine which stands out at what I paid for it.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this sauvignon blanc as this was my first exposure to the Amici brand. Crystal clear in the glass with just a hint of yellow gold color. Nose included aromas of white flowers, lemon and freshly cut grass. Medium-full mouthfeel with flavors of guava, lime, stone fruit, melon and a wisp of grapefruit peel. Very nicely balanced and refined. Medium length finish introducing elements of pineapple and citrus as final compliments. Surprising quality and complexity for the price point. Will purchase again.

Lemon creme, tangerine, honey and some green apple on the nose. Good structure on the palate, very easy to drink.
