  • Delicious and drinking well now. Excellent depth and acidity is well-integrated, but still loads of freshness and primary flavors. Price is a little high at $50 paid, but maybe that's just being used to paying $25 for good albarino. This is not your steely lemon albarino, but sort of like your Meursalt of the genre if you will.

  • Spanish wine (Chicago, IL): This has got to be one of the best Spanish whites in the market these days (I'm curious to hear other contenders). It's slightly reductive and coiled upon opening, but hours of air definitely loosen up the taut structure here. Slightly oily in texture, presumably owing to the general intensity of this, there's intense extract and complexity on the palate. A balanced amount of acidity to go with all the material, too. I keep asking myself, why don't I buy more of this?

  • Pale Lemon, med+ intensity, high acidity, 13% alc
Green Apple, lemon, mandarins, grass, mint, wet stones, touch of passion fruit in the finish.Mineral, salty and complex. Long. Just Lovely.

  • This reminds me quite a lot of a top-quality Muscadet, like from Pepiere. It has that citrusy, lemon oil profile, light in body and color yet with good intensity, lots of acid without being overwhwelming. The problem is that it's 2-3x the price of good Muscadet, and at least on this showing it doesn't have the depth or distinctiveness to justify the cost.

  • Although this wine got 95 from WA, I wasn't impressed. I found it to be ordinary bright, citrusy albariño without much of interest. It was good with food but too acidic to drink on its own.
