  • Dark ruby, almost opaque core. Tangy, slightly funky nose, a compote of ripe strawberries and yeast. Medium bodied, similar flavours as the nose, balanced acid, some raspy tannins on the midpalate, and considerable length. Some spritz on opening. Fruits are ripe and punchy. Interesting and quite different to most Barbera d'Alba I've had.
