Really in the sweet spot for my taste. Ruby to garnet. Lots of sediment. A fruity nose with fresh raspberries and strawberries, with some slight steminess (lean year or whole bunch or both?). Dry, medium acidity, medium to full bodied, and a long finish. Complex and balanced. This is drinking well now but could even age and improve. Served blind, this screamed Richebourg, which isn't too far from this underrated NSG Vineyard. A wonderful wine. From TL

Cork was saturated and pushing out of the top of the bottle & growing mushrooms on top, but wine was not corked. Very Nuits -- soft, feminine, straw and barnyard on the nose, sweet middle, hint of cherries and chocolate at the end. Well integrated, but a bit tired -- maybe we should have drunk this a few years ago.

I was worried about the low Ullage
But Pristine Condition
Tasting with Leroy Beaux Monts 92
Classic and Masculine Style
Red and Black fruit, a little prune
Licorice, Truffle, Iron
Soy Sauce, Vosne Spices
Velvety Texture
Voluminous, Rich but not Heavy
Structured than Beaux Monts 1992, and a little dry tannins

Legends (MG): blind
A bit short for a great Burgundy in the finish but everything is balanced and the wine is at his peak. 93

Slight brick and mature color, some earth with hints of strawberries coming through on the nose. Firmly structured, and some tannin.
