Mushroom, sous, dried fruit and a whiff of leroy perfume on the nose. Palate was dark fruit driven but the sweetness dried out quickly in the glass. It became more herbal in the glass. The bottle is in great condition. Madam’s first domaine vintage but it is clearly over the peak.

Leiden below Rotterdam: Really mature Burgundy, dark fruit nose with mushroom, balanced dark fruit taste, earthy tones, good concentration and acidity. Very fine

This is still in great shape. Open, concentrated, dark nose; great sweetness, quite long, just starting to dry out a little bit

No fireworks here. No obvious fault--this bottle seemed quite tired and lacked the signature Leroy concentration. Not drunk.
