As the name suggests, these are the favorite plots of the master of the estate. And we quickly understand why this vintage is such a favorite for me. It’s a mini Clos des Goisses for €30 estate price. It is vinous and precise, deep, powerful but at the same time delicate. A very good champagne.

Wines over Chinese New Year; 2/8/2024-2/12/2024: 80% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay. Disgorged April 2022. Drank more like a Chard-dominant blend with green apple fruit, brioche and a crowd-pleasing sweetness. As usual, Hebrart is always a great introduction to champagne for non-believers but at the same time with sufficient precision to please nerdier drinkers looking for more intellectual stimulation.
A blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. Disgorged 8 February 2023. Light to medium yellow-golden colour. Red berries, lime, green apple, biscuit, vanilla pastry, chalk, and light smoke, with great, fresh acidity and very good length. The mousse is medium fine and creamy. Clean and fresh, with good complexity, and very pleasant. A nice bottle of champagne!
