Pale gold. Immediate aromas of fine wine-making: for a basic bourgogne, even if the vines are vieilles, this is really high quality. Quite steely and chalky on the nose, with clean white and green fruit, and as others have noted, a rich streak of oak that does not overwhelm. Simple but effective. It is very nice but am in two minds as to whether, at £25, this is good value or not.

Classic type of a white burgundy. A bit weaker on day two and three

A marvelous wine. Still fresh and utterly delicious. Ratheer a Meursault village than a Bourgogne blanc !

Disjointed - alcohol prominent and seemed oxidised. On pouring good backend oak creaminess. Check next bottles

A proper basic white Burgundy. Some oak, butter but also ripe white fruit. Not very complex but good.
