Ripe apple everywhere with spice hints and enough acidity to maintain balance and an interesting, vibrant character. A shockingly good Bourgogne, even more shocking given the vintage. Still drinking wonderfully for its level.

Lots of ripe apple on nose and palate, still showing lots of baby fat and lush character. Very fun, but with enough energy to keep it energetic and interesting. Exceptional for its level.

Plenty of ripe orchard fruit with slightly sweet spice. Still nicely fresh and vibrant.

Still drinking wonderfully for its level. Ripe but with balance and good length. If served blind, I'd have thought this a good 2009 Villages level.

Identical to another bottle from earlier this summer. A wonderful 2006 at this level.
