  • Dark red with loads of pure fruit and soft tannins. Very syrah with olives, smokey and meaty flavours. Light and easy to drink but still a serious wine.

  • White pepper, asphalt, black olive, rare game, dark fruits, and violets on the nose. Glou glou styled done very well. It's mid weighted, savory, with an almost carbonic feel to it. It has a sense of clarity and grace with dark fruits, meaty, savory with plump fruit coming out with air time. A pretty joyful bottle of wine. This seems to have the requisite stuffing and balance to age, but this is quite good right now in a youthfully approachable way. Glou glou Cornas. A wine of pleasure that is complicated enough to keep your attention.

  • I wish more "natural wine" tasted like this; delicious with no reduction, flaws or confection. I don't have faith that this will age spectacularly, but this is my perfect type of glou glou wine while I wait for Gilles' brooding Cornas to age.

  • Beautiful wine. The total opposite of the other cuvees from Guillaume. This is a light feet Cornas, almost Burgundian. Dark fruits, ash and ink but with high acid and very lively. Super fine tannins, barely 12% alcohol. Throwback style. Nose was totally shut down but the palate really showed what Guillaume is trying to do with this cuvee. The contrast between the dark fruit profile, rigidi with the elegance and lightness of the wine is very interesting.

  • Playful and forward. Slightly more ripe than the Alain Verset, but precise fruit. The 2017 ripeness displayed in the boquet. Black and red cherry and some blackberry and floral (violets?). Good balance. Middle weight. Granite stony finish.
