Lean, clean, burgundian chenin. This is what I imagine it would taste like if Roulot made chenin. But even more energy than I get in most Roulot. Solid.

One for the acid freaks. Very high acid and intensity as usual from Boudignon, especially on the back end. Lemon fruit dominates, with just a little hint of green fruit. Agreed with previous notes that this did not have as much balance as his other wines, liked the basic Anjou and higher bottlings better. Quite lean and so much lashing acidity that it was almost a caricature of the producer's style.

Cedertræ, koldt smør, hø og sitrende sure vilde æbler i næsen. Faddet er mere afdæmpet (men tilstede) i smagen og frugten mere moden. Æblesyre, grønkrydder, hø. Fantastisk høj syre, og god længe.

100 % CB from a singe parcel with 40 years old vines - primarily grey slate. A mix of steel and used oak.
Not extremely aromatic on the nose but instead very powerful and acid-driven on the palate - a wow-experience. Very crisp but with a little more body than its smaller brother. Minerals are all over - citrus, lime, salt, light smoke, green herbs, white flowers. Loooong finish - high acidity. A little oily texture.

Æblesyre, modne citroner, hø, kalk og let fadpåvirkning. Vild (høj) syre og god længde
