I feel this wine is entering it's tertiary phase; There is a bit of barnyard on the nose(which I don't mind). Leather, stewed fruits, some earthieness too. The mouthfeel is good. Mid-weight, tannins are not apparent. Great with some short rib Bahn Mi! Did not improve on Day 2, and declined by Day 3.

A lazy drinking whilst having supper note - this bottle previously Coravin'd then popped and poured over 90 minutes...it's in its happy (for me) tertiary phase; leather, garrigue, a little (not unpleasant) baked red fruits and earth, a touch of roast red capsicum. In the mouth it's surprisingly fresh, tannins pretty much resolved, the Grenache coming through loud and clear especially with time in the glass. This absolutely shines with half a kg of pork chops.

Really quite nice and just about holding up. 30 min decant, fresh cut herbs on the nose, characteristic ripe raspberry and red fruits, hints of garrigue and smoked meat. Slightly hollow mouthfeel and the finish seemed a bit short. No overt tertiary notes. Good acidity and structure. Commendable and definitely not a hot mess which I’ve seen in far too many CDP’s!

Interesting pull from the wine fridge, very smooth and well rounded tannins, nice match to Christmas ham and peppered turkey.
