Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello in NYC. Translucent, medium Garnet with good tannin and acid structure for a Rosso dM with good balance. Nose is initially quite peppery, then broader spice, red fruit and florals. palate has good layers of flavor including herbs, red fruits and berries, then more clearly red cherry on the finish. I liked this for both near term and mid term drinking (next 5-7 years).
