This was a gift and I'm glad it was because I'd probably never order or pick this wine off of a shelf.
I really enjoy the aromatics of this wine. Heaps of white flowers, wet stone, lemon and other stone fruits.
The palate is interesting to me. It would come in waves of really good and then other times it was just ok. It had some moments of astringency and other times maybe a slight prickly acidity. I described this wine as a savory lemon dessert.
It's really well made, but it made me want either a chardonnay or a riesling, not some combination of both.

2nd time trying this and it's super crushable. Lemon, sour apple, fruity acidity galore with slight bit of jura funk. Light, lifted, easy to drink. Yum.

App: Medium slightly cloudy gold-amber, M Viscosity
Nose: M+ intensity: Bruised apple, candied oranges & orange peel, lees characters, some vanilla, very saline savory, stony minerality.
Palate: Dry2, M+ body (from lees/ flor), High acid, slight sense of tannins indicating skin contact, M alcohol (guess 12.5%), M+ intensity on palate, M finish.
Confusing wine, interesting structure. There was a lot of things going on, from oily texture to high acid, but relatively muted fruits and modest finish. It's similar to a vin jaune, but also to a good fino with higher acidity. Ça vient d'ou is a good name for it.

Expérience intéressante. Beaucoup de saveurs un peu etranges. Ca reste agréable avec une grosse amertume. Ne vaut pas le prix demandé.
