lovely floral nose. Great ripe sweet fruit, great balance to the wine. Soft tannins, starting to age but served from magnum. Long finish. Maison Estelle tasting

Joel's Tuscan Lunch (The wilds of Kent): Nose of lifted red fruit, a little meat and earth. Good depth on the palate but elegance too, really walking that Brunello tightrope of grace and power.

Tuscan Lunch chez Joel (Kent countryside, UK): Strawberries on the nose. It's light to medium bodied, very pure (red fruits) and finely chiselled. Enjoyable and accessible but perhaps not a medium to long term cellaring candidate.

Joel's Tuscan Lunch (A farmhouse in leafy Kent): Second time drinking this in a week, as it happens, and this bottle showed a lot better (and is more like the wine tasted on release, too). Really lovely on the nose, sophisticated, deep and sexy, with hints of leather. Energetic on the palate, balanced and delicious, with a stony feel. A point.

Mildly disappointing - quite evolved, lacking the excitement I found when trying for the first time in 2019. Soft leather, balsamic, deep and roasted but remaining fairly cool despite its 14%. We really enjoyed drinking this with dinner, although it's by no means a great wine.
