Solid drinker and likely to be a crowd pleaser but nothing to write home about. Good 2017 acid present and a little on the richer side of Meursault styling than I like. In a hot year this would have been a mess.

This is still in the creamy vanilla cupcake Girardin territory. I think my first Corton Charlemagne may have been a 10 VG, and that was more incisive. Admittedly, this cuveé has much larger production and is not in keeping with the single vineyard cuvées of 2018 and on (a shift in style and quality has occurred, but you won’t find it here).

Too restrained for me, had complexity but much of it was with the initial, more acidic flavours. Definitely not a bad wine, but lacked the longer creamy/buttery mouth feel I associate with/look for in a Meursault

PnP from magnum. Quite elegant, a bit restrained after opening, but quickly opening up in the glass. ripe citrus, white peach, vanilla, minerality and butter note. Classy, balanced and elegant. Good now, but can easily age a bit more. Long citrus and nutty finish

Straw yellow color, flint nose and dry mouth feel.
