Big napa cab with lively acidity. Dark fruits with black liquorice, tobacco leaf, bourbon oak and finishes quite long though a slight tinge of bitterness detected. Alcohol is high at 15.1% and can pick it up on the finish. Feels like a blockbuster napa that tries hard to be elegant and doesn't quite make it.

A few days in Napa with fellow CT'r Cristal2000: The vintage here does the Teres all the favors in the world, with initially a tight front end, but with requisite power to throttle the fruit and push it forward so that it can compete with the frame. Here, the backbone is more curved, exposing black and red raspberry, red cherry, cedar, and dark dust and loam. The mid-palate fills in more than the 2013 by a long shot.

ADAMVS Verticals (w/CSIMM1161) (ADAMVS Vineyard and Winery): A step up from the 2013 right before it. Black cherries, tobacco leaf, and earthy, it shows a bit more polish and finesse, while displaying freshness, good acidity, and juicy red fruit. Rounder than the other offerings. Finishes spicy.

Black plum aromas. Rich cassis, a little ripe and lots of acid. Medium plus oak finish in the form of charcoal.

Was good but lacked some depth. I liked the Quintis more
