Great expression of Howell Mountain fruit. The juicy black currant profile makes it immediately approachable, the earth & tobacco accents add complexity and acidity while the tannins remain friendly for such a youngster.
Decanting not required to enjoy what this has to offer but it will last and improve a dozen plus years. The QPR commands attention.

In a great place. An intriguing Plum and tar aroma reminiscent of higher altitude mountain grown fruit.
Pleasantly integrated palate of stewed plums, dark currants, mulberries and cocoa with properly balanced acid/tannins.
Very enjoyable and should continue evolving over the next few years.
