4/8/2015 - I LIKE THIS WINE: (Edit) 95 Points This was an extraordinary wine. Paper filtered and decanted yielding a lovely garnet liquor and leaving behind some large chunky black debris and a fine sand of crystals at the bottom of the filter. The aromas of ripe red and blue fruit were enticing and the explosive flavors of raspberry, cherry, blueberries, and wonderfully smooth and sweet finish were intoxicating and led us down the path of over-consumption and exhaustion. Sadly, we were unable to finish the last glass each after splitting the bottle. But, I have more in the cellar and I look forward to consuming them in the near future.

Well-woven and distinctive, with beautiful cola and attention-getting jazzy elements. Great on its own, with an inferno from Lococos, and even the next morning from the bottom of the uncorked bottle.

This was okay, but not as good as other 2006's, I was generally underwhelmed. Seemed uncoordinated and just generally not remarkable. Not as bad as Mallards' experience apparently, but I won't run to open the other one.

I FEAR opening these bottles. Easily the worst Oregon Pinot I have ever had. However, of late, this stuff seems to have taken a turn for the better. Still not something I pursue, but since I do have a bunch left, glad it is at least no longer painful to drink.

Elegant, über integrated, a beautiful Burgundian style wine, but with smooth tannins.
