  • Simple PNP,
Lemon in color, peach and cream, beautiful nose, easy to drink.
It had slight heat on the backend which disappeared after a few minutes open.
    No sign of age.
    Drink now thru 2024.

  • This wine used to be called “Celeste”. A very similar experience to the Blanche Hermitage however it lacks a touch of the complexity. The fruit is still quite tropical with stone fruits and nuts however it came across a bit more round with more power and more of the cotton candy. The finish was a touch more bitter as well reminding me of walnut skin. Very fun to try this wine after the Blanche. As I understand, this is a 60/40 blend of Roussanne/Marsanne. Quite delicious.

  • This was refreshing with aromas of rose, vanilla and apricot. This has a yellow gold color and is medium bodied with medium acidity. The flavors are of honeysuckle, melon and peach. Beautifully balanced with a creamy finish.

  • Moderately intense aromas of citrus and white flowers. A surprising mouthful, dry, with moderate acidity but an almost harsh texture and some bitterness. From skin contact? Not much fruit. Full-bodied and 14.5°.This might need time and definitely needs food (not sure what, though. Bluefish caponata?).

  • I think this is one or revisit in a few years. Certainly had some creamy elements but the overriding feeling is rather coarse and brash. Very much a spirit type burn on the way down and ethanol feel
Nose is subltle and after a few hours it was slightly better but half this bottle went down sink and just couldn’t be bothered to engage further.
It’s not a terrible wine though one of the lowest scored for a while or ever from myself but I just think it needs a while to come into itself.
