At Lawton after great Cote-Rotie. Not super sweet, It's own unique light but flavorful self and much appreciated. Perhaps less intense than last bottle and may be good to drink in the near future.

At Trung's. Lovely sweet Sagrantino nose and flavors. Some volatility that to my taste just adds interest and perks up the tastebuds. Moderate residual sugar. Significantly lighter in body, alcohol, and viscosity than a fortified wine. A nice way to end a meal with richness but without heaviness. It matched less well with a chocolate dessert than a banyuls tasted alongside.

At PF. Hugely tannic. Couldn't get much Sagrantino from it. Disappointing so far but will wait another3-4 years at least for the next bottle.
